Sophisticated Surgical Skills To Enhance Your Natural Beauty

While nasal bumps may add character to your appearance, they can also be the reason you feel self-conscious. Your nose is your most prominent facial asset and its function and aesthetics can have a big impact on your daily life.

Bumpy, hooked noses are one of the most common concerns among rhinoplasty patients. Unlike traditional rhinoplasty surgery which focuses on the reduction of cartilage, tissue, and bone, preservation rhinoplasty aims to do just the opposite. Those seeking the coveted non-operated look will benefit from Dr. Bader's advanced surgical techniques that reduce the height of the nose bridge (nasal dorsum) without altering the patient's dorsal lines. The result? A more natural appearance and quicker recovery time.

Open vs Closed Preservation Rhinoplasty

Dr. Bader defines his surgical approach and technique based on your nasal and aesthetic goals. During a preservation rhinoplasty procedure, he often opts for a closed approach. This is the best approach when treating tip deformities, over projected noses, and when minimal modification is required. If the surgery requires a more complex approach, Dr. Bader opts for the open approach.

Want A Nose Created Just For You? Preservation Rhinoplasty Treats...

Whether you want to reduce an unsightly bump on the bridge of your nose or alter the nasal projection, preservation rhinoplasty is an advanced surgical procedure that can help American men and women achieve a more balanced and symmetrical facial appearance without detracting from their natural beauty.

Nose Bumps

Inherited or caused by trauma, dorsal humps can be refined by using preservation rhinoplasty to smoothen the nose bridge. No sanding down of bones or cutting away excess cartilage, instead deep incisions are made within the nose, and precise pieces of cartilage and bone are removed. This allows the nasal bridge to naturally shift down creating a smoother appearance while preserving your nasal structure.

Crooked Nose

If you are seeking a more balanced and proportioned appearance, a preservation rhinoplasty procedure can sculpt and refine your nose while avoiding damage to your soft nasal tissues. Dr. Bader uses meticulous techniques to maintain the structural integrity of the nose and achieve a nose that looks as if you were born with it.

Wide Bridge

Narrowing the nasal bridge using traditional rhinoplasty is an effective method, however, for those seeking a non-operated appearance, preservation rhinoplasty is recommended. Dr. Bader reshapes and repositions existing nasal components to narrow the bridge and preserve the integrity of the nasal framework. This creates natural and balanced results that enhance overall facial harmony without compromising the nose's original character.

Nasal Tip Issues

Traditional methods used to treat conditions such as a bulbous nasal tip involve cutting away alar cartilage which can cause an unpredictable contour to develop during the healing process. In a preservation rhinoplasty procedure, Dr. Bader won't remove any cartilage, instead relying on incisions to create definition.

What to Expect From Plano and Dallas Preservation Rhinoplasty

Dr. Bader is one of the leading rhinoplasty surgeons in the USA and is at the forefront of medical advances within this field of facial plastic surgery. With his gentle approach and use of advanced technologies and techniques such as ultrasonic Piezo rhinoplasty, you can enjoy a nose that looks as though you were born with it.
1

Initial Consultation

Since no two noses are the same, Dr. Bader treats each case individually. During the initial consultation, Dr. Bader looks at the caudal septum to make sure that it is straight, checks that the dorsal lines are good, ensures that you have a small to medium bump, and that the radix doesn't need alteration. This criteria ensures that you are the correct candidate for this procedure. Dr. Bader will also discuss your surgical goals and medical history to create a personalized plan to achieve optimal results.
2

Personalized Procedure Plan

From the moment you step foot inside our Plano office, Dr. Bader and his team of medical staff cater to your individual needs. Preparing for surgery can feel daunting especially when it requires a pre-procedure plan but with clear instructions and expert guidance, all you need to worry about is enjoying your new nose.

3

Minimized Downtime

Dr. Bader is one of the few facial plastic surgeons in the country who is an expert in preservation rhinoplasty. This procedure preserves the dorsum including the thin layers of lymphatic and blood-rich tissue which reduces swelling and bruising and therefore the downtime involved after surgery. This also minimizes the need for revision rhinoplasty.

While swelling and bruising are at their peak during the initial stages of recovery, this is reduced due to the minimal impact of the preservation rhinoplasty procedure. You will still need to rest and keep your head elevated during the first days. A week post-surgery, Dr. Bader will assess the recovery process and answer any questions during a follow-up appointment.
7

Travel Post Surgery

Those traveling from out of town are advised to remain in Plano, Texas for at least a week post-surgery to ensure optimum results.

So pleased with my revision. I spent 2 years observing the results and researching doctors across the US and Europe, and chose him. My advice: Choose a doctor that always shows each angle of his finished noses. Don't choose doctors that show anything less! Pay attention to lighting in the photos too. Choose a doctor who specializes in noses. They are intricate and important not only to your aesthetics but also your breathing. Don't compromise your beauty or your breathing with a good doctor. Save / wait for a great doctor. Dr. Bader and his staff exceeded every expectation. My surgery and aftercare were professional and seamless. I would recommend him to anyone who is having a primary or revision. It was the best decision I've ever made.

Went yesterday for a revision rhinoplasty consultation. Excellent experience! The staff was all very friendly & helpful. Amanda has been a joy to work with during the entire process. I researched several doctors over the past maybe 6-8 months before scheduling my consultation with Dr. Bader. Very excited to have a revision done in the future by him!

Dr. Bader changed my life!! For the better! I was so insecure and sad with my previous results with a Dr in Mexico(crooked, upturned, ect). I honestly didn't think anyone could make it better until i found him. At consultation he explained how he could improve it and was very honest about it, and his staff was very friendly and they made you feel comfortable. I always feel like Drs rush and dont hear you out completely, but it was different here. I made sure to explain all my questions and concerns so many times and they heard me out, explained the whole process and made me feel like i was in the best hands! My results are exactly what i wanted!

Am I A Good Candidate For Preservation Rhinoplasty?

If you live in the Plano or Dallas area, the best way to find out if you are a candidate for preservation rhinoplasty is to book a consultation. However, if you are a first-time rhinoplasty patient with a nasal bump you want to fix and are in overall good health you will be an ideal candidate.

Preservation Rhinoplasty Risks

While preservation rhinoplasty comes with fewer risks than traditional rhinoplasty surgery, all facial plastic surgeries carry risks. Possible complications can include scarring, infection, asymmetry, difficulty breathing. In surgery, nothing is guaranteed. Yet, with Dr. Bader's elite training, decades of expertise, and precise technique, you are in the best hands for your preservation rhinoplasty.

Recovery From Preservation Rhinoplasty

It is normal to experience pain, swelling, and bruising in the initial stages of recovery. These will go down over time. The first six weeks are a crucial time on your recovery journey. Bed rest is mandatory for the first week and nasal drip pads are recommended for the first days to manage any bleeding. You will also be required to treat your nose with saline solution, a treatment required for the first few months. After the first week, Dr. Bader will schedule a follow-up consultation to ensure your nose is healing correctly. Expect to be back on your feet after 2 weeks with results showing around 3-6 months post surgery. Full and final results can be enjoyed 12 months post-surgery when the area is fully healed.
